Miso soup
Miso soup for curing a cold
Serves 1
I’ve forgotten where I got this from. The umami taste makes me feel
warm and fuzzy and comforted when ill.
Oh, it also helps to clear the blocked nose whenever I’ve a cold. You can try mixing the juice of one lemon with hot water and maple syrup/honey as well.

2 tablespoons of organic brown miso
6 cups purified water
2-3 tbsp of fresh ground ginger
3-5 tbsp of fresh ground or minced garlic
sliced green onions
seaweed
½ pack of finely diced tofu
1 tsp of cayenne
First
Boil water. Add miso, ginger, garlic, tofu and stir.
Second
Add the rest of the ingredients and garnish. Serve hot.
