Tomato soup
Quick tomato soup
Serves 2
500g ripe tomatoes, scalded and skinned (or tinned)
1 slice of onion
450ml milk
1 teaspoon sugar
1 tbs plain flour
1 tbs butter
salt and pepper
First
Put all ingredients into liquidizer and process to puree. Will look curdled,
but don’t worry.
Second
Tip it all into a saucepan, bring to the boil, turn down the heat and let
it simmer for five to ten minutes. Taste and season.
